GROUP FUNCTIONAL PERSONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS

Group Functional Personal Training Programs at HHP are purposeful and functional. We target total body workouts in every class. Our program is made for any individual at any level. Each program is modified for your training level. Designed to help you move better, perform better and feel healthier than ever before. Our community and program will motivate and encourage you.
Each program is led from start to finish by a coach who will serve as your guide and motivation throughout the hour. The focus is training with purpose. Bottom line: Our training program should represent an outcome, not just a variety of random exercises with no destination. Our approach is to keep it simple.
To achieve the most from the workout, there are 4 key fitness areas to fulfill: 1) Prime or Proper Warm-up; 2) Power Development; 3) Strength Development; 4) Conditioning or Cardiorespiratory Training. Think of those as the 4 buckets to fill in each workout.
To gain the most out of your workout and program, you need to fill each bucket the best you can without overfilling. Our programs are led from start to finish by coaches who will demonstrate and teach you how to correctly execute your workout.
The session begins with a whole body warm-up with an emphasis on active stretching, muscle activation and movement quality. This will not only prepare you for the workout but will carry over to helping you feel better and perform better in your life. All of us lose “power” at twice the rate we lose strength as we get older. Therefore, this makes it important that we allocate a portion of the workout to power development.
Our program emphasizes strength circuits incorporating whole-body movements to ensure well-rounded strength. Strength training is so much more than just working on muscles. It is a skill and the goal should be to get “stronger,” but emphasize the quality of movement, instead of just focusing on the quantity. You will always finish the training with heart-healthy conditioning which can be anything from pushing sleds, to rowing machines, riding bikes, and a variety of body conditioning exercises.
You will always finish the hour session with stretching and education led by your coach, who will teach you Lifestyle Management skills to ensure you are striving for balance in your lifestyle.
