With HHP Nutrition, our mission is to deliver the most effective, practical and reliable diet and training consultation to those looking for long-lasting results. We recommend choosing predominantly whole, plant-based foods that are rich in fiber and nutrient dense. We help you identify habits that may need some adjustment. Then, together, we develop the nutrition plan that is right for you and your lifestyle. We provide lessons, tips and advice, with a plant-rich focus.

Water is the most basic chemical component of all living things. Water is the most abundant substance in our body. Total body dehydration seems to be the hallmark of aging. The #1 trigger of daytime fatigue is lack of water. Commonly overlooked, proper hydration gives you energy, nourishes your whole body and gives you clarity. Together, we work to strategize the right hydration program for you and your lifestyle.

 

We all agree that managing our stress better makes us feel happier, but it also helps us control our body weight, reduces risks for diseases, reduces muscle and body tension, helps us avoid getting sick more often and helps us sleep better. It is essential that we recognize negative stress responses, identify coping mechanisms and stress reduction strategies to promote improved health and performance.

SLEEP, REST & RECOVERY

Here is the bottom line: Habitual, effective sleep provides your body all the balancing needed for the other five pillars to work well. Other than breathing oxygen, sleep is the second most important aspect of your physical health program. Lack of, or poor quality sleep can negatively impact your overall health, performance and greatly increases your risk of all diseases along with greatly hindering the processes of healing that occurs at night while you are in deep sleep. Research shows 7-8 hours or more a night of restorative sleep is essential for body weight control, blood sugar regulation, cardiovascular health, mood, dementia prevention and maintaining a strong immune system. We work with you to devise a sleep routine and to create an optimum sleep environment. Lastly, allowing your mind and body to recover and rejuvenate is as important as exercising and making it more fit.

 

Family, friends, positive social connectivity and a support system play a powerful role in helping balance all the other pillars. Healthy relationships are essential for maintaining health.
